Cleaning the dashboard
Dashboards attract dust and are always exposed to tiny particles of dust from the heating and fan systems.
The professional tip: Wipe down

Always wipe the dashboard, using a lint-free cloth, starting from the driver's side, from the top to the bottom as far as the middle, including the middle instrument panel. Then clean in the opposite direction from the passenger's side.
- Slightly dirty:
Spray the dashboard evenly with window cleaner and wipe with a cloth. Remove dust from ventilation openings, cracks and grooves using a brush.
Blow off with a compressed air gun and wipe down everything thoroughly using a clean microfibre cloth.
Wipe wood and chrome components with a lint-free cloth.
- Normally dirty:
Spray the dashboard with plastic cleaning fluid.
Remove dust from ventilation openings, cracks and grooves using a brush.
Finish off thoroughly with the compressed air gun and wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth carefully until all residues have been removed.
Wipe wood and chrome components with a lint-free cloth.
- Severely dirty:
Spray a multipurpose cleaner onto a sponge (not directly onto the dashboard) and rub in with the sponge.
Loosen dirt at air openings and switches with a brush.
Wipe the dashboard with a microfibre cloth and blow out all the grooves and ventilation openings with a compressed air gun.
After drying, treat with plastic care fluid.
Attention
Do not allow the cleaning fluid to come into contact with electrical components and/or displays under any circumstances! Excess moisture can cause damage.
